Baby Dedication

In presenting your child to the Lord, You Are:

1. Publicly affirming your personal faith and trust in God.
2. Committing yourself to pray daily for the physical, mental, social and spiritual welfare of your child.
3. Setting an example of honoring the Lord’s Day by bringing your family to Worship Services.
4. Modeling before your children your love for God and His word in your home, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your might. And these words which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.”- Deuteronomy 6:5-7
5. Looking for that “teachable moment” when you may present Christ to your child and have the joy of leading him/her into a personal relationship to Jesus Christ.

If you are a Married Couple or a Single Parent (not living with someone outside of marriage), and are committed to Christ and His Holy Word, please complete the following application. Only a couple committed to Christ and married or a Single Parent committed to Christ and not living with someone outside of marriage may register for a Baby Dedication.

However, if at this time you do not meet these guidelines according to God’s Word, we would love to have the opportunity to help bring your relationship into accordance with God’s Word and God’s love, so you can dedicate your family to God.

With your commitment, then as your church family, we also commit to continue to believe in God’s way for your family, and pray for your family to look to Jesus Christ for strength, wisdom, and the life He gives.
